Ecco is a Danish company, founded, owned and run by Karl Toosbury.Over the last forty years ecco have created many new concepts of design and technology to ensure absolute comfort and flexibility in their shoes.
They are the acknowledged leaders in Polyurethane moulding, a process which allows them to make fantastically light, flexible but extremely hard wearing shoes. Once the uppers are completed the polyurethane is directly injected into the sole, this allows ecco to to do without the inflexible insoles, layers of material and adhesives which are standard in normal shoemaking. All of this engineering technology is producing the softest, lightest, most fexible and comfortable shoes.
